Maddie Gerig shelly
is a fine artist and designer committed to creating finely crafted work that evokes intimacy and calm. Her work is minimalist, expressive and empathetic. She enjoys working across multiple medias, however primarily spends her studio hours working and teaching in miniature, a craft passed along to her from her aunt and mentor, Jane Graber.
Gerig Shelly recieved her BA in Fine Art from Goshen College and is pursuing a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and Art Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. She is currently a research assistant for literary critic and sterling professor at Yale University, Harold Bloom.
Her work is represented at Found Gallery, The Burchfield Penney Art Museum Shop, private collections and at miniature expositions across the country.
Beyond her work, Gerig Shelly is an avid rock climber, dog enthusiast and lover of food and family.
